Today's program was amazing and breathtaking at the scope of tyranny all around the country (click on pics for links). Grateful for the insight from Dr. Karen Effrem of Fl Stop Common Core Coalition on the ESSA, Deborah Love of Eagle Forum on the Student Privacy Bill, Lynne Taylor of NC on the Data Mining in the ESSA and Mike Parson on Warnings on the changes coming. The Plans have almost been perfected. All throughout the states the highway for data is almost complete-Alabama was supposedly one of the last ones (HB125 Student Longitudinal Bill sponsored by Chairman of ED Committee Terri Collins (R) Decatur, got her bill through the house and just passed the Senate.
Mothers need to remember her along with the others for making sure their children's data (from Cradle through rest of their life--unprotected unless this bill passes
-Student Parent Privacy Protection HB267)
"now" has a Highway-through the HB125.
Oddly, Terri Collins again is the Chair of the Ed Committee holding up the Student Protection Bill HB267. AL parents may want to kindly ask her not to get in the way of it passing--surely they won't play the "kill the bill" game on Student-Parent Privacy Protection?? There are less than 12 Legislative days for Alabama. Please use
the bill/vote form (it is also in our Bears&Lord Networking app)--Fax or letter is best (http://www.legislature.state.al.us/aliswww/ISD/House/ALRepresentatives.aspx) and do make the call (334 242-7600 for House and 7800 for Senate)--You can also cut and paste this:
Re: Bill HB267 Student-Parent Privacy Protection Act
Please support this bill and make sure it gets passed. Right now it is in the education committee and we hope you will do the right thing and support Student and Parents. You've just passed a Student Data Longitudinal Bill and we know the dangers of data mining. Here are a few examples of where data has been breached and we need HB267 passed.

We hope you will stand to protect us and pass this bill immediately.
Appreciate your consideration of my reaching out to you for help on this matter. Please reply back and let me know of your position.
Thank you in advance.
Testings will change as the ESSA will be about assessments ( ignore the PPRA that warns about delving into attitudes, values beliefs-here's link to objection and inspection forms).
